Your hosts

We, Nadine Juen and Frank Sohler with our three children Madeleine, Leon and Anna, would like to welcome you to Hotel Nova.
Frank took over the hotel from his parents Margit and Elmar Sohler in 2009.
Margit and Elmar have built the hotel up to this point into a charming, cozy hotel.
Starting out on a green meadow, they gradually built the “Nova” into a small, fine flagship establishment.
After the handover, numerous renovations of rooms, gardens, playroom and more have been carried out.
Together with our team, we always strive to provide you with a pleasant and enjoyable stay in a family, cozy atmosphere in the midst of the beautiful mountains of the Montafon.


Time travel

  • PV system 2023
    Our new PV system is now complete. We now produce the majority of our electricity needs ourselves, actively contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions. You can now relax with a clear conscience on vacation and reduce your ecological footprint when you stay at our hotel.
  • Modern kitchen 2021
    To provide our guests with even better quality from the kitchen, we have completely renovated it and equipped it with the most modern appliances.
  • Ecological pellet heating 2019
    We are now pleased to have switched to 100 percent renewable energy and to be making an important contribution to the environment and future generations.
  • Panorama indoor pool 2017
    Addition of the panorama indoor pool with a generous 12x6 m pool.
  • Renovation 2nd floor 2012
    The rooms on the second floor have aged and have been completely renovated.
  • New garden 2011
    The garden was adapted to the terrain and the entire terrace was renovated.
  • Renovation 1st floor 2010
    The rooms on the first floor have aged and have been completely renovated.
  • Business transfer 2009
    After more than 40 years, Margit and Elmar are retiring and handing over the management to Frank.
  • Wellness area expansion 2006
    The wellness area has been expanded with a steam bath, bio-sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, foot bath and a relaxation area.
  • North renovation 1994
    A major renovation has brought the Hotel Nova into new splendor. The restaurant was enlarged, the wellness area (only the shell), reception area, our Montafon stove parlor and also more rooms were added.
  • South expansion 1986
    The terrace, pine parlor and utility rooms were added. The kitchen was also enlarged.
  • Attic extension 1976
    Our 7 rooms on the attic floor were extended.
  • Pension Nova opened 1972
    On December 20, the first guests were welcomed by Margit and Elmar. With a lot of dedication and passion, the guests were catered for. Margit cooked for the guests herself.
  • The first stone 1971
    The first walls were built on a beautiful meadow.
  • The love 1968
    Margit Grass came to Gaschurn as a cook and fell in love with Elmar Sohler.
